Junnelius wasn't built overnight – it was born from long conversations between friends who've spent their lives creating things that matter. From real estate to design, from hospitality to human connection, the founders share a deep passion for beautiful spaces and meaningful experiences.
Together, they've been behind companies and projects like Bo, Protos Demos, Villa Nagu,
Valo Finland, Space of Mind, Made by Choice, Arkken and many more inspiring stories. When this charming historic villa in Ruissalo came along a couple of years ago, the vision was clear: Not just another pretty place, but a living breathing community that blends culture, creativity and connection – with good vibes only.

A villa with many lives
the HISTORY of villa junnelius
Built in 1878 by merchant Carl Junnelius, the villa’s ornate tile stoves still glow with warmth. Over the decades it has welcomed merchants, consuls, families – and countless conversations that shaped Turku’s cultural life.
Over the years 2023-2025, four families restored it with care – renewing its bones while keeping its soul intact. Today it’s ready for the next chapter: yours.
